Curtis Chippeway got his start in Sim-Racing on Gran Turismo 5. He didn't get into racing for quite awhile and spent most of his time cruising the Nürburgring Nordschleife and drifting which has given him an advantage with the fast and technical tracks in the V8 Supercars.  He got more into racing after months of drifting and did a couple seasons racing in various leagues on GTPlanet and had heard about iRacing at the time but didn't want to switch over. With the PSN outage of April 2011 he decided to get on iRacing to get the racing itch satisfied. He quickly got into it and never looked back.

After hopping around multiple series for awhile he had a friend get him to dedicate to a season in the V8 Supercar driving in the America's splits. He quickly found pace in the car and was able to start running near the front and after awhile he joined up with fellow front runners Chad Chastain, Ray Butcher, and Jim Davey to form the now defunct team Can-Am Motorsports.

He started his debut in the Monday Night V8sonline split in S2 2012. After quickly adjusting to the car he was able to consistently fight for the top 10 and soon enough the top 5.

He hasn't got a main split win yet but has plenty of wins in the other splits and hopes, going into the future, to start fighting for wins in the premiere series and the V8 Americas. He feels that being a new hire into Powerbond Racing will give him the edge he needs to realize his goals and become a consistent front runner.

As well as competiting competiviely in the V8 Iracing America's series Curtis also competes in the IRacing V8 Premier V8 Supercar Series as well.
